February: Understanding Twice-Exceptionality (2e) and Its Complexities
Are you looking for an expert-led small group that fosters supportive conversations and provides personalized practical strategies that truly matter to you and your family? Whether you are new to a 2e diagnosis or continually wrestling with the complexities, this is the group for you.
What You’ll Gain:
Expert Guidance: Our leader’s extensive background and innovative work reflect her deep commitment to creating inclusive and neurodivergent positive environments.
Insightful Discussions: Understand twice-exceptionality (2e) and how it shapes learning, social, and emotional development. Explore why 2e children’s needs often go unnoticed or misunderstood and how to change this.
Personalized Practical Tools: Learn strategies to address educational and parenting challenges, foster curiosity, and build supportive communities. Gain advocacy tools and strength-based approaches to leverage your child’s abilities and interests.
Intimate Community: Connect with other parents facing similar challenges. Build lasting connections and share resources with parents who "get it."
What To Expect:
In these discussions, we will delve into the unique experiences of twice-exceptional (2e) kids—children with remarkable strengths alongside diagnoses like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, anxiety, slow processing speed, etc. These differences often present as challenges in traditional education and parenting systems and approaches. Together, we’ll explore how to better support our 2e kids by understanding and embracing their exceptional abilities while addressing possible barriers.
Join a small, supportive group of parents who truly “get it”. Together, we’ll engage in a deep dive filled with interactive simulations, the latest research, neurodivergent-affirming best practices, and valuable resources. We’ll explore how these insights directly relate to you and your 2e child through open discussions, offering practical tools and a sense of community to help you navigate challenges and celebrate strengths.
